Worpex at Oldbury Park Primary School, St John's, Worcester.
The following directions avoid Worcester city centre.
From M5 motorway
- Leave M5 motorway at Junction 7, Worcester South
- Join A44, direction Worcester. Use left-hand lane
- Follow signs with brown background "The Malverns, Three Counties
Showground"
- At first roundabout, take the 1st exit road
- Go straight on (2nd exit road) at each of the next two roundabouts
- Cross the river Severn
- At the first roundabout after crossing the river, take the 3rd exit:
A449 Worcester West. A filling station will be on your left
- At the next roundabout, take the third exit signed City Centre A449/Tenbury
A443. The Jet filling station will be on your left
- Go straight on. Just before the next roundabout there is a car hire
centre on the left.
- Take the 2nd exit road, then use the left-hand lane.
- Turn left at the 'T' junction (McDonald's on left)
- Go straight on under the railway bridge. At the top of the bank,
take a 'U' turn to the left. Ignore the entrance to University
College of Worcester
- Take first right, with local store on the left after turning
- Oldbury Park School is on the right-hand side
- Take school entrance and follow signs to car park behind the school
By public transport
Bus
The Midland Red bus service runs from Crowngate Shopping
Centre approximately every 10 minutes. The journey time to Oldbury Park
School is about 10 minutes (depending on traffic).
Train
Worcester Foregate Street railway station is about 5 minutes' walk from
Crowngate Shopping Centre.
It is too far to walk from Worcester Shrub Hill railway station into
the centre of Worcester. On arrival at Shrub Hill station, walk about
200 yds to Shrub Hill Road and cross the road to a bus stop where buses
pass approximately every 10 minutes on the way to Crowngate Shopping
Centre, then follow directions above for travel by bus.
